Persepsi Mahasiswa Terhadap Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Riset Pada Materi Perpindahan Kalor
Abstrak
Fisika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang berperan dalam mengembangkan keterampilan analitis, kritis, induktif, dan deduktif dalam menyelesaikan masalah melalui pendekatan ilmiah. Namun, berbagai penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa mata pelajaran ini kurang diminati karena banyak siswa menganggapnya abstrak, sulit dipahami, dan kurang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, yang berakibat pada rendahnya pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran berbasis riset dalam materi perpindahan kalor. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Termodinamika Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket persepsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memberikan persepsi positif terhadap pengalaman belajar menggunakan pendekatan berbasis riset. Berdasarkan temuan ini, pembelajaran berbasis riset dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, terutama dalam pengajaran fisika.
