The Free Learning Policy is a step to transform education for the realization of Indonesia's Superior Human Resources (HR) who have the Pancasila Student Profile. In this issue Volume 13 Number 2 of 2022, articles are prioritized on topics related to the Ministry of Education and Culture's program for independent learning. This requires changes related to these policies such as curriculum adjustments to implement independent learning, professional teachers who are able to educate and teach utilizing information and communication technology, students are given the widest opportunity to learn and have various competencies needed by the community, create an environment education and learning that supports the implementation of independent learning, and designing relevant assessment systems to measure students' abilities.
